Welcome to the Full (new) Youth Program
After years of research, development, consultation, testing, trialing & fine tuning involving thousands of our Scouting community - it's finally here:
The Full Youth Program is now live in Queensland
As of April 1st, we've released the final elements of the nYP into Queensland, meaning we can all now start to move towards embracing the nYP in full throughout our day to day programs.
The nYP is made up of many different exciting elements that build on each other - each designed to increase the fun, adventure, challenge & inclusiveness in our program.
We encourage everyone - Leaders, Scouts, parents and supporters to explore the elements throughout this website and the available resources.
Where to learn More about the Youth Program
The Youth Program is now well underway across Australia, and a wealth of resources are available to learn more:
Program Handbook - This is a substantial document desgined to pull nearly all elements of the Youth Program into a single resource. This can be purchased as a hardcopy, or as a softcopy from the Scout Store.
Program Resources Website - All leaders can visit a dedicated resource website pr.scouts.com.au, which holds a library of documents, posters, reference sheets and videos.
Adult Leader Training - All Adult Leader Training Courses have now been rebuilt to support the (new) Youth Program. Leaders attending courses will learn about the key elements and methods of the Program. New Leaders should speak to their Group Leader to find out more about the Training Pathways.

Scouts | Terrain, the new online record keeping and programming tool is now available for all Scouts and Leaders in Queensland!
